ARMS LIPO

THROUGH LIPO WITH VASER® WE CAN IMPROVE THE SILHOUETTE OF YOUR ARMS TO ELIMINATE EXCESS OF FAT.

We all want well-defined and slim arms. For some people, the upper arms lack definition, sagging, and fat accumulation.

For those people with slight accumulation of fat and who have good skin elasticity, losing weight and exercising may be the answer, but many of the times it is not enough to have the defined arms that we all want.

At Nubody we have different surgical techniques with which you can improve the silhouette of your arms to eliminate excess fat, such as Vaser® liposuction and Microaire liposuction, both with the benefit that they are very gentle fat extractions that together achieve – Faster procedures, with less trauma to the tissue, less bruising, faster recovery and greater adhesion of the skin to the muscle.

If you are looking for an arm liposuction specialist in Monterrey, in Nubody you will find the best Plastic Surgeons with extensive experience in this procedure.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

How do I know if I am a candidate for this procedure?

A good candidate has significant excess skin on the upper arms. Most complaints from patients are that they need to wear larger shirts to accommodate excess skin or that they are not comfortable wearing sleeveless clothing.

What are the cares that should be taken?

It is necessary to use a bolero type girdle, on the arms, which provides compression. The girdle is worn for about three to four weeks after surgery.

Wounds take at least a year to mature. During this time you have to help them to be as good as possible. We recommend the use of sunscreen and silicone patches as postoperative therapies. Sunscreen protects wounds from ultraviolet rays, which can cause them to turn dark.

Massages with lymphatic drainage are integrated to accelerate the deflating process.

When can you return to physical activities?

The patient can start cardiovascular exercise after the third week. Weight-bearing exercises for the arms are recommended after the sixth week to avoid putting greater stress on wounds, which are still maturing.

When can you return to normal activities?

The time required to return to work is one to two weeks, depending on how extensive the surgery is. By then, all the sutures have been removed and the primary inflammation has subsided. The first days after surgery, you may experience swelling, bruising, moderate pain, numbness in the area and little flexibility, which will gradually recover.
